The PKPD facility provides resources for qualitative and quantitative analysis based on chromatography and mass spectrometry, and equipped with a variety of mass spectrometers, including triple quadrupole LC-MS, high-resolution LC-MS, preparative LC and ion chromatography, etc. Starting from scientific research needs and innovative technology, the facility develops new methods and technologies to solve bottleneck problems in pharmaceutical research, and provides LC-MS analytical applications based on chemically derived small molecule drugs, biologics, traditional Chinese medicine, metabolomics and pharmacokinetics. So far, the established core applications include MRM-based quantitative methods for in vivo drug analysis, such as quantitative analysis of multiple antibiotics, pharmacokinetics of small molecule compounds and DMPK analysis, etc.; analysis of complex traditional Chinese medicine includes chemical component analysis in blood and prescription; structure characterization of biological macromolecules based on high-resolution mass spectrometry, including intact molecular weight estimation, subunit structure and peptide mapping; non-targeted metabolomics and targeted metabolomics, and metabolic flux analysis, covering energy metabolism, glucose metabolism, amino acid metabolism, nucleotide metabolism and other key endogenous pathways.
