IRS, Tsinghua University is currently inviting applications for:
1 Research Scientist/ Associate Research Scientist position in Regulatory Science/ Regulatory Affairs, at the Professor level;
1 Research Associate position in Regulatory Science/ Regulatory Affairs, at the Assistant Professor level.
The recruited candidates will be the regular faculty of Tsinghua University. The compensation package will depend on the specific position.
Terms of employment at IRS are comparable to Tsinghua University and other institutions with respect to research start-up funds and compensation, and they include healthcare insurance, housing subsidies and educational subsidies for children.
Job Description
Research Scientist/ Associate Research Scientist:
(1) Participate in and support the construction of the discipline of drug (medical device) regulatory science
(2) Participate in and support the construction of NMPA Key Laboratory for Research and Evaluation of Innovative Drugs
(3) Independently lead cutting-edge regulatory science research program, including publication/academic dissemination.
(4) Exploring international cooperarion of drug regulatory science.
(5) Keeping close contact with drug regulatory authorities to support the development of drug regulatory policies and technical guidelines.
(6) Other assigned duties.
Assistant Research Scientist will assist Research Scientist to:
(1) Construction of drug (medical device) regulatory science
(2) Construction of NMPA Key Laboratory for Research and Evaluation of Innovative Drugs
(3) Do cutting-edge regulatory science research program, including publication/academic dissemination.
(4) International cooperarion of drug regulatory science.
(5) Others assigned by Research Scientist.
Qualifications
(1) We particularly seek candidates who completed a doctorate in Regulatory Science/ Regulatory Affairs, or in Pharmacy and Medical Science with a good experience in regulaltory science and policy research.
(2) The particular area of emphasis is open, but ideal candidates will complement existing research strengths in regulatory science, regulatory affairs, regulatory policies and regulations, innovation of drug administration and improvement of drug regulatory capabilities. Candidates who skilled at developing new tools, standards and methods to improve regulatory science innovation are particularly desirable.
(3) Candidates will be expected to have hosted or participated in research projects related to drug regulation and have published high-level academic papers in the field of drug regulatory science or regulatory affairs.
(4) Candidates who are familiar with international drug regulatory policies, laws, regulations, and technical guidelines, and have a strong desire to do study in drug regulatory science are especially encouraged to apply.
(5) Communication skills and proficiency in English are also highly desirable.
